About Us

DCP was born from twenty years of experience of FPM (Federation against piracy in music and multimedia) in the field of the protection of intellectual and industrial property rights.

Divided into three main divisions: Tech, Lab and Track, DcP offers highly technical, professional services for the protection of copyright, brand rights, and individual rights.

DcP uses a pool of experienced professionals and analysts along with a sophisticated IT infrastructure, that guarantee a multilevel approach for strategic digital asset protection, the development of the brand and for research and analysis of online phenomena.

Our keywords are:

Knowledge – of the phenomena, the actors, the client

Technology – the best instruments, always up to date, available to the client

Personalisation – the ability to appreciate our client’s needs and offer the most appropriate solution

Integration – the possibility to offer a multilevel approach and working as a team with the client

FPM was founded in 1996 by IFPI (International Federation of the Phonographic Industry) and FIMI (Federazione Industria Musicale Italiana) in order to protect the intellectual property rights of its members and to inform and educate institutions on risks and damages caused by the phenomenon.  Over the years FPM has collaborated with law enforcement and prosecutors in thousands of criminal cases, represented copyright holder in the institutions on all matters related to intellectual property, promoted dozens of research projects in the marketplace, and has assisted their associates with the transition and development to the digital marketplace, all the while protecting its content on the network.
