Luca Vespignani

He began working in the industry as a Marketing Assistant for southern Europe for BSA (Business Software Alliance). In 1999 he became the head of the Italian enforcement program, managing relationships with law enforcement and coordinating verification actions. In 2001 he joined FPM (Federation against piracy in music and multimedia) as the Enforcement Manager. In 2002, he was appointed General Secretary.

In 2013 he founded DcP (Digital Content Protection Srl), of which he remains Chief Executive Officer.

He has been a member of the CNAC (National anti-counterfeiting Committee); he is currently a member of both the IPR Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce and the technical table that protects the copyright of AGCOM. Since 2005 he is the official educator of the Guardia di Finanza, organizing training seminars in regional centres, in cooperation with the General headquarters in their efforts to combat counterfeiting.

He collaborates with the University of Bicocca in Milan, holding seminars on copyright and new media.
